Mt. Talimitam Hike

Hello there! After a year or two of not climbing mountains, I am back and starting again.

Mt. Talamitam is the younger sister of Mt. Batulao. The mountain is located at Nasugbu, Batangas.
We left at our grandparent’s house around 6 AM and were dropped off at Olivarez to eat breakfast at a fast-food chain. After an hour, we left and went through Nasugbu, Batangas. We told the conductor to drop us at Brgy. Bayabasan cause I barely know where that is.

We arrive at Jump off point of Talamitam around 8 AM. We registered first and started our climb. We did not get a guide because we were taught we can get by. At first, we get lost, but thanks to the locals’ help, they taught us where we are the way. And also, we follow our instinct. But if you feel that you need to have one, do not hesitate.

After 40 mins we reached the summit. The sun is brightly shining that day, so we have a hard time climbing because there are only a few trees and kubos to rest. But it is worth it. The view is relaxing and unforgettable. We can see fortune Island, Mt. Batulao, Mt. Apayang, Pico de Loro, and I think Laguna.
