Today, we lost you, Krissie Lucky.
She is bubbly, friendly, and moody. She knows when to fight. She knows how to light everything up. A loving daughter, kind, and all the good words I can put up to describe her.
We met in the CAFENR building at Cavite State University. We are schoolmates. We became teammates in football afterward. We became close. Text each other, laugh together, and talk about our crushes during our vacant period.
Whenever we had training on Friday or Saturday, we made sure to eat out in the best lugaw in Indang with our teammates or at sizzling house in the plaza. During our college days, she invited me to sleep over at their house. After that one time, a lot of sleepovers happen at their home. I cannot count anymore how many times I slept there and talked to her about life & dreams.
She saved me when I became lonely. When I fought with my college classmates, she was there with me. She said to me that I should join them. I should hang out in their department so I would not feel lonely at all. And guess what? I did. I spent my break time with her. Eat out with them. Fight with her. And also did some kalokohan with her.
I know we barely talk to each other after graduating. Life became busy for both of us. A new set of friends came in. But still, we made sure to greet each other on every occasion of our life: birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and others. We talk about how single we are, or I am. Talk about how the job is somehow tough and cheer up each other.
Today I lost you physically, but you know you are in my heart always & forever.
I know you are up there smiling above.
Love you always, B!
And I will surely miss you every day.
A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU, B! HUGS & KISSES.
