Binondo is the oldest Chinatown in the world. It is located in Manila. We usually go to Divisoria since I was in High school, but we did not mind going to Binondo to eat out. But recently, my friend and I tried eating out there before going to Divisoria to shop.
Our first stop is Cafe Mezzanine, located at 650 Ongpin St, Binondo, Manila, 1006 Metro Manila it is just above the Chuan Kee Restaurant.
We order Xiao Long Bao, Lava Pao and Kiampong.

I really love their Xiao long bao. As in my friend and I super love it that we want to buy to bring home.

We only ordered their Steam Dimsum. I don’t like the taste of it. It has after taste.
Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli sells one of the best Hopia and Tikoy I’ve ever tasted. My friend and I actually bought a lot of Hopia, tikoy and mochi there.

We also went to Salazar Bakery we bought the usual hopia and asado bun. I tasted the Hopia na Baboy but it’s kinda off for me. It’s not the usual Hopia in our local bakery.

You should try their Asado Bun; it is so good.
Part two will soon happen. We will surely return to Binondo to try out more restaurants and cafes.
How to go to Binondo from the South?
We rode a bus going to Lawton from there, we rode a Jeep to Divisoria and drop off at San Lorenzo Ruiz Church from there, you will see the sign with Ongpin St. then walk down.
