When I was young, I thought the Taal volcano is really the one that I saw every time we go up to Tagaytay. It is not! I believe in that for almost I don’t know years of my life. Lol! The crater of the volcano is right behind that Mountain. The one that we saw every time we go to Tagaytay is Mt. Binintiang Malaki.

Transportation:

From Manila ride a bus going to Nasugbu or Tagaytay. Drop by at Olivarez then there ride a tricycle. Tell the driver to drop you off at Talisay port. Then at the drop off point ride a boat.

Tips:

1. Bring at least 1 liter of water or energy drink with you.
2. Bring chocolates or any sweet
3. Bring extra clothes, towel or slipper for your tired feet
4. Trekking is better than riding a horse
5. The food and drinks there is a bit expensive
6. The best haggler saves more. 😀

Total fare from our home to Olivarez (back and forth) – 70 pesos

Fare to Talisay from Olivarez (back and forth)- (500/5) – 100 pesos

Boat to Taal (back and forth) – 2000/5 – 400 pesos

Environmental fee – 100 pesos

Tour guide – 500/5 – 100 pesos

Food – 80 pesos

Red lava – 50 pesos

Total expenses: 900 pesos
